This group of dedicated Christian men come together
to form a unique but traditional Southern Gospel sound. Each
member of the LeFevre Quartet is a born again Christian with
one purpose
to glorify the name of our Lord.
To assure that, the group is able to carry out
the ministry that God has entrusted them with. The LeFevre
Quartet has teamed up with Song Garden Music Group of Nashville
TN to record, distribute and do all radio promotions. All
of the scheduling is taken care of by Parker Music Group,
also from Nashville TN. Even though this group is fairly new
to Gospel music, the name LeFevre is very recognizable to
Southern Gospel music lovers. Two of Mike's uncles and his
aunt formed the LeFevre Trio in 1921, and the rest is history.
Mike LeFevre is no stranger to Gospel music,
many people remember Mike from his seven year stay as the
baritone for Gold City, during which time he received the
honor of Singing News Fan Awards' Favorite Baritone for 1989,
1990, and 1991. After his Gold City years, he then spent four
years as the original baritone for Brian Free & Assurance.
Singing lead for the Mike LeFevre Quartet is David Staton.
God has blessed this man with one of the finest lead voices
in Gospel music. David is also a well known song writer, having
songs recorded by Gold City, The Kingsmen, and Jeff &
Sheri Easter, including the # 1 song, "There Is A Way,"
and the Grammy nominated song "Every Knee Shall Bow."
Holding down the low notes is Stacy Bragg. Stacy's smooth
bass voice has touched the hearts of many people across America.
Some will remember Stacy as the bass singer for Hovie Lister
& The Statesmen Quartet during the 1990s.
The tenor position is filled by Stephen Sigmon. Stephen has
extensive classical music training and holds a BA in music,
but his passion is for Southern Gospel music. You will truly
be blessed when you hear Stephen sing.
At the piano is Mike Westbrooks. Mikes roots in Gospel
music go back to a young ten year old singing tenor for his
family, the Westbrooks. Mike moved on to keyboards. You may
have seen Mike with the Anchormen or Felicia Shiflett &
Liberty.
Last but not least is Mike LeFevre's son, Jordan
LeFevre. At fourteen years old, Jordan is the youngest member
of the group. He uses his gift playing drums as if he were
a seasoned veteran.
We believe that God has given us a great opportunity
to spread the gospel through this ministry, and it our desire
to see people come to know Jesus as there personal Savior.
